Church

So, yesterday Sarah and I went to "River of Life", the church dad used to pastor at.  Lets just say, I have no intentions of going back again!  It was way too wierd.  The interum pastor they have, I was not a fan of him.  I felt like he never really had a message...he read a scripture at the beginning (which was good), but then, no joke, the rest of the service, he just told stories about himself....way different from what it used to be.  I knew about half of the songs that were played, which was good.  It was really nice to see some people at church who I have known forever.  Sarah and I went out with the Berry's, a couple who has been there since we first moved.  When we first moved out here, we didn't have any grandparents out here.  This couple was like our grandparents.  I know for myself, they mean a whole lot to me and that is definately a couple that it will be hard to leave.

Today, Mary is taking me to Augusta.  I am going to get all of my Christmas shopping done.  Since, I am going to Steve's family house, I won't be coming back here, to South Carolina, until Christmas eve day.  So, it will be really nice to get all of that done now.  After we do all of our shopping, we are going to make spaghetti for dinner.  Mary wanted me to do that, so I will be making spaghetti for my family as well as Mary and her husband, Joe.  I am sure it will be a fun day.

Then, tomorrow, I think the only thing that I have planned is I am going out to lunch with my case manager from the commission for the blind.  We will talk about everything that is going on in Colorado, etc.  I will probably try to spend some more time with grandma tomorrow as well.  We will see how all of that works out.
