So, today is Sunday. Like any other Sunday, I am going to go to church. I think I posted that dad has resigned from our church in South Carolina...so, my mom and dad are going to a different church. Sarah and I are still going to River of Life. It will be really wierd being there with not only dad not preaching, but mom and dad not there at all. To be perfectly honest, I don't like it too much!
However, there is a couple in the church who have been like our grandparents ever since we moved here. They didn't have grandkids until several years after we moved here. They took us to Chukee Cheese, out to eat, we would spend the night at their house, etc. I am looking forward to seeing people like them. Sarah and I are going out to lunch with them after the service, so that will be fun.
The rest of the week I have something going on every day, which I like! Tomorrow, Mary is taking me to do all of my Christmas shopping, since I won't be coming home until Christmas eve. Tuesday, I meet with my case manager from the commission for the blind. We are going to go out to lunch and I will catch her up on what is all going on in Colorado. Wednesday, I am going out to lunch with a couple people from my old high school. Cathy Neal, who used to be my homebound teacher, and then Wanda Baynum, who was also in the office and is a really sweet lady. I am looking forward to all of these things! It is really nice to know that I still have 4 full days!
