Still no internet and no cell phone!

Another post from Mom!  Emily talked to her roommate for the five minutes she has seen her this week and they are going to get internet, but Emily doesn't know when.  Her cell phone will not keep a charge so Matthew found one on ebay and ordered it last weekend and she should get it this weekend...hopefully someone will be able to sign for it and hopefully her old phone will turn on so they can get a serial number needed to re-download the "talking" application to the new phone.  It's a very complicated process and difficult to take care of 1500 miles away!!

This Saturday night the Center is holding a fundraiser which is a show where the younger kids sing Broadway show tunes.  Emily has been busy this week baking the desserts that will be served at the event.  She sample a couple of the things they made and like the chocolate varieties and passed on those with nuts in them :)

She hasn't fallen in over a week, so hopefully that is over and one with!  Her new adventure is walking to the bus stop in the mornings by herself.  Someone waits for her and will come and "look" for her is she doesn't come.  Yesterday she got pretty lost, but ended near the apartment of some other students, who happened to hear her IN THE STREET between cars!!  I maintained my composure as this seems very dangerous to me since she doesn't have a phone to call for help and it is a VERY LARGE apartment complex!!  Thank the Lord He is watching out for her!
