The last few days...

It seems as if Emily's new roommate is never home to discuss getting internet access in the apartment, so another update from Mom :) 

Last Wednesday Emily made homemade salsa!  She talked about mincing the vegetables to go into the blender and that it turned out really good!  She had a fairly "fall-free" week, which is very good news.  Thursday night she got to see her friend from Denver, Alicia, before she flew to college in PA.  They had a great time at Noodles!

Emily's phone is having problems again.  I bought a new battery when she was in Aiken, but the phone isn't holding a charge at all. What that means is that now we have no way to contact her :(  I needed to get in touch with her about getting a new phone.  It was frustrating because we had to buy a used phone on ebay that would interact with the "talking" software for a phone.  Only certain phones have that capability and then the majority of new phones have touch screens, which are impossible for her to use...VERY frustrating!  But, she called late last night from another person's phone and had had a great day visiting a friend's church and then hearing Dr. Dobson speak at another church in the evening!  I am hoping that in a weeks time, she will have a phone and the internet!
