Weekend

This morning in my home management class, I finally learned how to sew a button on a shirt and how to iron pants and shirts!  It was so good to learn those basic things that are so useful, especially the ironing.  Niether of them were quite as hard as I thought..  I did poke my finger a few times, but no harm done!

During travel we crossed a few lighted intersections.  I am pretty good at that but one of the newer students who was with us wasn't, so we practiced that today.  Then we stopped by this pizza place called, "Mckiners", I think that is how it is spelled.  It was so good!  One huge piece of pizza was like four dollars.  I couldn't finish it and that size was good for my travel teacher, Steve.  That tells you how big they are.

In braille today I am hoping to work some more on my project.  I am now proofing it, which I have to do quite a bit of proofing...unfortunately!

This weekend I don't have many plans.  I have to do the usual, laundry and cleaning.  I am thinking maybe Saturday night I will have a couple of the new students over and play some games.  I haven't mentioned that to Lily yet, so we will see!  I hope you have a good weekend, I am so happy it is here!

By the way, my graduation date has been set...It is planned for May 24.  I don't see anything unforseen happening to change it.  We should be good  How exciting!!
