Life hasn't been too interesting here recently. This past weekend some friends of mine and I went shopping at 16th St. mall. That was alot of fun! We went out to lunch at Johnny Rockets. I of course got a delicious chocolate shake! I also had to, unfortunately, go grocery shopping and clean this weekend as well. That is always so yucky!
I have woodshop today, so I will be working on my knife holder. It is coming along really good. I am pretty sure all I have to do is make the legs, or stand for it and then glue and nail the two pieces of wood together. I am hoping to make one more project, but we will see if I have time. I am thinking of either a paper towel holder or a step stool.
My mini meal is approaching fast! It is going to be a week from this Wednesday. So, the 14th of March. I am so praying that it all goes good! I started inviting people today. I just have to invite a few more. A few of them have asked what I am making and when I tell them chip dip, taco's, and chocolate mousse they all have seemed like they like that. Which of course is a good thing!
In travel class we are beginning to ramp it up some. My teacher, Steve, has warned me that this day was coming. I have already gone on a couple of independent routes. An independent route is where he, Steve, tells you where to go and you go there. What he does for me since my memory isn't the greatest, is he records the directions in my recorder. That seems to be working pretty good. Of course I still get turned around a little, but I guess that is to be expected. So far there has always either been someone around to help me or I have been able to figure it out. So, that is VERY good.
Otherwise I think that is it, atleast all I can think of. I hope you all are doing well.
