Back in SC...

Things have been really busy for me at school....that's my story and I'm sticking to it as to why I haven't made a post!

The Secret Santa thing I wrote about was so much fun and we revealed ourselves on the last day of school at the Christmas party.  I really like all the things I got and the girl I had seemed to like everything I gave her as well.  We were supposed to chop down the tree for the center, but the weather was bad so we just bought one already cut.  The center hosted a holiday party for the National Federation for the Blind, which I went to.

I had my "staffing" meeting the Monday before I came home.  My case manager from SC was on the conference call, as well as my teachers in CO.  Overall they all feel like I am making progress in most areas, but the weakness would be traveling to unknown places. They are hoping for me to be able to graduated sometime in April.  My travel instructor said that we will be working on that in the new year.  I will also be starting a new class that will help prepare me for college.  I have continued with my woodshop class and worked with some bamboo, which was pretty cool.

I flew out of Denver Saturday morning, and after a bit of a rush to get to the airport because my travel partner  didn't hear the alarm and the shuttle never came, Mr. Joe saved the day and got me to the airport in time for my flight.  I walked right on to the plane, so it was close :)  My flight into both Atlanta and Charlotte were early.  Mom, Matthew and his girlfriend Laura came to meet me.

It's great to be home...
