First Week

I survived the first week!  I did not have access to the internet in my apartment or at the school, therefore I wasn't able to post anything until now.  Before I go into details, my room purchased two months of wifi, so now that should be better! 

There have been many up's and down's this week. The ups have been learning to make scrambled eggs, learning to ride the bus and light rail, and my favorite - working on braille!  haha  The down's have been I have fallen off of the bus once and on the sidewalk once.  I ran into poles a couple of times as well.  I am sure that will not be the only timel. I have been working on my computer skills as well. Even though this progam is difficult, it is very good for me.  I know the outcome of it will be great.  Once it is all said and done I will be so glad that I did it. Right now it is tough but it is so clear that it is a God thing with everything surrounding it. I am so happy that I am a part of it.

I have a counselor in my room and two other roommates.  By the way, I got to switch to the bottom bunk because the girl who was there moved out to the living room couch so she didn't have to listen to the breathing machine.  My parents and Sarah arrived yesterday and my Mom brought me earplugs :)  I have a cold so that is making me feel a bit under the weather.  I am looking forward to the weekend with my family and going to the wedding of Aaron and Mallory.
